Alfa Bier is a family-owned brewery that has been making beer in Limburg for five generations. The popularity of this family beer in Limburg places them as a firm local favourite. But the rest of the Netherlands was unaware of the brand.

And as times change, so do people’s tastes. Not in terms of beer, because Alfa brews still exactly the same beer with exactly the same ingredients as they did 150 years ago, but in terms of look & feel.

Alfa was ready for a makeover. The Brand Junkies team launched a completely new positioning, look and feel, tone of voice and packaging for this independent Limburg beer brewer. The goal? To retain existing Alfa fans and attract the new generation of beer lovers.

The result is an award-winning design, for an award-winning beer – with a massive increase in sales and brand awareness nationwide – and now reaching out globally!
